Very Impatient Caterpillar

One day when everyone else starts climbing up the tree, one little caterpillar wonders whats going on. Is he missing out on something? When he asks, they simply reply that theyre going to metamorphosize. Meta-what-now? Theyre going to turn into butterflies. The caterpillar wants to be a butterfly, too, so he shimmies up the tree after the others.

The only trouble is, no one told him how long the whole process takes. And since this is one impatient caterpillar, he doesnt think hell ever be able to last long enough inside his chrysalis to transform.
