Take A Breath

Bob just doesn’t get the whole flying thing: when the other baby birds go up, up, up, he goes down, down, down. Trying new things can be scary, especially when you’re maybe not the best at whatever it is you’re trying. But Bob’s perseverance shows kids that if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again, until you fly. With so much to worry about, it’s no wonder kids are more anxious than ever. What Bob’s story reminds us is that we all need to stop worrying, stop comparing, just breathe, just BE. Because if you can BE, you can be brave. Be okay with who you are right now, and trust that by being, you’re already doing something, and that leads to the next something, and that always leads to being better, in all senses of the word.
